Opening Hours and Consulting Times
Biggar and Peebles surgeries are both open from 8.30am - 6.00pm every weekday, and on Saturday mornings 9am - 12noon in Biggar and 9.30am - 12.30pm in Peebles. We also have a late night consulting until 7.00pm in Biggar on a Monday, and Peebles on a Wednesday.
Outside of these opening times, if you have an emergency or urgently need advice, please call the surgery on the normal telephone numbers - Biggar 01899 220073 or Peebles 01721 722879 - to speak to the on-call vet.
We offer consultations daily in both surgeries - all by appointment only. We are happy to arrange home, stable or farm visits. If your animal is ill or injured, we will see them as soon as possible, and for urgent cases you will always be able to get an appointment the same day.

All consultations are by appointment only - please call Biggar 01899 220073 or Peebles 01721 722879 to book. We have fifteen minute consultations (the UK national average is ten minutes) so we have time to examine your pet fully. A first consultation with the vet for a dog or cat costs £35.75 and a follow-up (for the same problem) costs £27.50.
